Keeping Karlsson Episode 23

We’re a couple of days early this week but still bringing the goods with episode 23 of the Keeping Karlsson Fantasy Hockey Podcast. The show starts off with some general fantasy playoff strategies, including how one should potentially deal differently with players like Derrick Brassard and Mike Green, as opposed to how you would during the regular season. The guys also point out a few teams that should be targeted and avoided over the next week and cover the two big injuries of Patrick Kane and Cam Fowler and how their teammates will be affected.

Keeping Karlsson Episode 22

Episode 22 of the Keeping Karlsson Fantasy Hockey Podcast is a big one as we head into the last month of regular season NHL play. The big headline of the show is once again injuries, and Elan and Brian discuss the impact of the injuries to James Neal, Ryan Kesler and others and provide some tips on who may be good replacements.

The other headlines covered are newly relevant backup goalies (including Tim Thomas and James Reimer) and the NHL debut of Evgeni Kuznetsov. Keeping Karlsson Episode 21 -Trade Deadline Edition

On the trade deadline edition of the Keeping Karlsson Fantasy Hockey Podcast, the guys delve into which players gained or lost value as a result of the various deadline deals. Aside from analyzing the winners and losers of the big deals involving Luongo and St. Louis, they also discuss a number of other players that were affected by moves they were involved in or that their teams made including Hemsky, Okposo, Gaborik, Anisimov, Neuvirth, Enroth, Halak, Bryzgalov and Fasth. A few potential low percentage owned gems are also discussed including Palmieri, Lindholm and Zajac.

Keeping Karlsson Episode 20

NHL hockey is back and that means it’s time for Elan and Brian to get down to business. The big headline is of course the Ryan Miller trade, and the guys dig deep into how it affects a number of players on both Buffalo and St. Louis. They also discuss the Canucks goaltending saga and whether or not you should be jumping on Eddie Lack, as well as the revolving centers on the Islanders’ first line. Other notable players discussed this week include Steve Mason, Martin Hanzal, Derrick Brassard, Antoine Vermette, Adam Henrique, Sean Monahan, Jakob Silfverberg and Carl Soderberg.
