No. 58 - Top Tierney

If you've managed to make it this far, don't stop now-- get all the latest fantasy hockey news and analysis you need to hoist the championship by listening to the 58th weekly edition of the Keeping Karlsson Fantasy Hockey Podcast!

The word of the week is Outjury, as a whole bunch of high-impact players return to their lineups for tune-ups and playoff runs. Some of them may have fallen off your opponents' radars, leaving them ripe for the picking, including a center-turned-winger in Boston, a breakthrough blue-liner in Dallas, a breakout forward in Winnipeg, a top six mainstay in Ottawa, and even maybe a pre-season sleeper in Dallas.

Of course, injuries continue to play a role in your fantasy matchups, both by knocking guys out of them and elevating other players into new roles. Elan and Brian look at the impacts of injuries in Florida, Detroit, Boston, Philadelphia, Nashville, Pittsburgh, and St. Louis.

And, the big question: who can you stream in and out of your lineup when you need an extra point or two? We've got a ton of suggestions, including a couple goalies recovering from poor starts, re-emerging teammates in Minnesota and Colorado, an entire line in Ottawa, a pair of blue-liners in Vancouver, depth forwards in San Jose and Tampa Bay, and an honest to goodness Buffalo Sabre.

The show wraps up with a tribute to those we've lost along the way. If you'd like your team tributed, send us a tweet or an e-mail for next week's show.

Players discussed on this week's episode include Henrik Lundqvist, Cam Talbot, Mathieu Pereault, Dustin Byfuglien, Tyler Myers, David Krejci, Ryan Spooner, Valeri Nichushkin, Clarke MacArthur, Trevor Daley, Alex Goligoski, John Klingberg, Craig Anderson, Andrew Hammond, Patric Hornqvist, Evgeni Malkin, Nick Bjugstad, Erik Cole, Justin Abdelkader, Riley Sheahan, Zach Trotman, Dougie Hamilton, Torey Krug, Wayne Simmonds, Brayden Schenn, Ryan White, Tyler Ennis, Brian Gionta, Shea Weber, Seth Jones, Cody Franson, Alex Steen, David Backes, Kris Letang, Derrick Pouliot, Paul Martin, Kari Lehtonen, Mike Smith, Alex Tanguay, Mikko Koivu, Ryan O'Reilly, Tomas Vanek, Erik Condra, Mike Ribeiro, J.G. No. 57 - Calling Doctor Jones

Don't hit that snooze button! Instead, give your head a shake, open up your favourite podcasting app, and push play for the 57th weekly edition of the Keeping Karlsson Fantasy Hockey Podcast.

Star players are snoozing left and right at the worst possible time, going AWOL for your most important weeks of the season. On this episode, Elan and Brian work through the snoozing studs to figure out which ones are worth waiting for, and which ones need to be swapped out for the hot hand, pronto. Particularly close attention is paid to seemingly contagious point droughts wreaking havoc in New York, Nashville and Pittsburgh.

And there are plenty of hot hands to be found. We look to a recently-recalled winger in Columbus, a blossoming young scorer in Winnipeg, a "hot" Florida forward taking a big step forward, a Sabre that's offering a glimmer of his past self, and a new first line arrival in Edmonton.

This show also includes a look at the goaltending situations in Vancouver and Ottawa. Has Brian finally bought in to the Hamburglar hype?

And, of course, this edition features the latest injuries and outjuries, and all of their collateral effects on your fantasy roster and lineup decisions.

Players discussed on this episode include Derek Stepan, Patrick Marleau, Melker Karlsson, Chris Kunitz, Mike Ribeiro, Colin Wilson, Martin St. Louis, Rick Nash, David Perron, Evgeni Malkin, Andrew Hammond, Eddie Lack, Marko Dano, Mark Scheifele, Brandon "Pirri" Pirri, Ryan Miller, Patric Hornqvist, Kris Versteeg, Sami Vatanen, every other Ducks defenseman, Kevin Hayes, Boone Jenner, Tomas Plekanec, Tyler Bozak, Mikael Granlund, Jordan Eberle, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, Cam Talbot, Matt Moulson, Benoit Pouliot, and Taylor Hall.

No. 55 - Giordanoooooooo

The NHL regular season is 80% done and the fantasy regular season is even further along, meaning there's no better time to check out the 55th weekly edition of the Keeping Karlsson Fantasy Hockey Podcast!

The run of injuries to star players sadly continues, and Elan and Brian are here to tell you how to best offset the losses incurred to your fantasy lineup. The guys explain what the absences of blue-liners in Calgary, Winnipeg and Dallas mean for your roster going forward, and touch on the thud-like exclamation point on a sophomore slumper's season.

As the post-season draws nearer, your fantasy focus should be shifting ever more towards the short-term. With that in mind, we offer a few suggestions for some high-producing, low %owned players that could lend you a hand over their next handful of games.

Also, now that we've had some games played since this week's NHL trade deadline, we run down the first notable performances from players who have changed addresses. This show also takes a look at developing goaltending situations in Calgary and Anaheim.

And finally, we share some of our own strategic fantasy tips for getting the most out of your lineup. One point can make or break a season's worth of work, so we'll tell you how to cleverly manage roster moves, free agent pickups, and player schedules in your post-season matchups.

Players discussed on this episode include Mark Giordano, T.J. Brodie, Dennis Wideman, Deryck Engelland, Dustin Byfuglien, Tyler Myers, Trevor Daley, John Klingberg, Alex Goligoski, Nathan MacKinnon, Ryan O'Reilly, Matt Duchene, Gabriel Landeskog, Cody McLeod, Dennis Everberg, Tyler Seguin, Jason Spezza, Erik Cole, Tomas Fleischmann, Curtis Glencross, Michael Frolik, Brandon Pirri, Drew Stafford, Jiri Tlusty, David Desharnais, Semyon Varlamov, Jonas Hiller, Kari Ramo, Patrick Sharp, Frederik Andersen, John Gibson, Joni Ortio, Alex Semin, Andrej Nestrasil, Mika Zibanejad, David Pastrnak, Ryan Spooner, and more.
