With the Olympics going on there isn’t a whole lot to work with, but this week’s episode of the Keeping Karlsson Fantasy Hockey Podcast still offers up a nice helping of fantasy hockey advice. We begin with our headlines, including some Olympic injury casualties and how they may affect their NHL teammates, as well as another record set by Teemu Selanne.
Sticking with the Olympic theme, some notable early strong performers are discussed including Olli Maata and Michael Grabner. Brian provides an update on the current Keeping Karlsson Olympic Pool standings and discusses which boxes currently have the most surprising leaders.
Outside of the Olympics the guys discuss some trade strategy for their pools and critique a couple of trades involving Jaromir Jagr, P.A. Parenteau, Clarke MacArthur and Matt Moulson.
Speaking of trades, Brian shares something interesting he noticed in the URLs for proposed trades in Yahoo fantasy leagues that may help you gauge the trading activity in your league.
